Um… It’s just that… While I appreciate everyone’s willingness to help with our problems, sometimes I think we feel the same as you.
People tell my sisters “we’ll just fight them and keep you safe,” without considering their feelings… When their heroes couldn’t do that for them and then strangers come and act like they’re better. Satou-san… No, “Satou” and “Shugo” in general, are victims too. I also, I guess, am sort of…
[Yuuto hesitates, then rolls up his sleeves to show Ryoko some of his scarring from the Facility.]
I think we’re all getting angry for the same reason. But what my family hears is people saying “you were in a bad situation and made a choice I don’t like,” when that choice saved the people they love.
But then again… For a place like the Facility, making people angry makes them weaker and easier to control too. I think they’re using everyone’s kindness against them. Even yours. It isn’t fair to have to be careful with kindness.
How rude is it to take on that burden without even being asked to? Even if they didn't know anything about Magi or heroes or whatever, she and most of the other Fallen Stars couldn't even begin to know how they felt dealing with all of this.
...
Wow. She... was going to do the same thing again. Without consulting anybody. ]
...I'm sorry.
[ No, she needs to look at him, dead in the eye and say it. ]
I'm sorry for not considering your, or your family's feelings when I speak. I guess after so much time assuming I'd have to clean up a mess, I didn't consider anyone that came before me's attempts.
You are a victim, caught in the middle like this. It's not fair to put you in this position either. It wouldn't be fair to make any of the choices, without talking to anyone close to me too.
[ She... would have to include Ushio in that too. How unfair would that have been to her? ]
...I'll still talk to Aisaka-san, and see what she thinks. But... I'll shoulder these worries a little longer. I'll apologize to Shugo-san, and I... I'll ask if you need help going forward.
Although, I know I'll want to do it anyway. In the end... I want all of my loved ones to stay safe.
I'm sorry. I don't mean to imply that we don't need help, when we clearly do. I don't want your kindness turned against you like this anymore either.
[He nods slowly, relieved at least that she seems to understand the need to talk to her loved ones.]
I know you do. Asakura-san is a very kind person, after all. But if you're kind to your friends without consulting them, you may end up being kind to no one at all. That desire of yours isn't yours alone, you know. They want you safe too.

Eh? No- Uuum I'm sure there are better people, you know, um... [And now he can't look at her. Too embarrassed.]

[ For lack of a better term. ]
Thank you, Yuuto-kun. I mean it.

Y, you’re really welcome… Thank you for trusting me. I hope that whatever choice you make, you’re able to feel better soon.

And... if you ever want to, feel free to swing by my apartment too. I'd like to return the favor at some point.
[ ...Maybe it's the way the conversation's gone, but she has no idea how that sounds. ]
